The wall paintings of this single-aisled church with narthex are contemporary to those of Hagioi Anargyroi in the same city.
As with Hagioi Anargyroi, the donor of these paintings was a local aristocrat. In this case, Nicholas bears the title magistros.
The saint is clad in lamellar consisting of rectangular plates with unrounded tops.
